Rigney Bros. Repairs takes a conscientious approach to health & safety issues and the environment for our staff and the public at large. The Company strictly adheres to the recently introduced Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) directives concerning the use of substances containing ‘Volatile Organic Compounds’ (VOC’s). We are licensed by Cork County Council in this respect as a car body repair centre.
Only ‘Water Based’ paint refinishing products are used thus eliminating harmful solvent based materials. The Company aims to minimise waste and recycle where ever possible and has made significant investment in staff training within this area. We have installed the latest technology in paint gun washing equipment and distiller machines. This enables us to recover and recycle water and thinners used the cleaning process. Only licensed and registered recycling and waste disposal contractors with full traceability are used .
